Nines 2023

The facility

For The Nines 2022 on the Plaine Morte glacier near Crans-Montana, Switzerland, an innovative, organically shaped snow park setup was created with features that flow seamlessly into one another. The central element was the 8-metre-high sphere with over-vert quarterpipe access and a ‘perfect jump’ with a 24-metre run-up. Other highlights included three large bowls around the jib area and the spectacular ‘Swatch Downward Spiral’, a 7-metre-deep circular vert pit with a tunnel exit.
